Frank Kratovil

He received a coveted endorsement from the Blue Dog Coalition, which promises to increase the amount of money he pulls in and possibly some top notch surrogates.

Doug Gansler

The AG's office has been substantive and aggressive, and though that makes for a bright political future, the state's Farm Bureau has painted a bulls-eye on his back.

Sergio Vitale

He allegedly raised $28,000 at a fundraiser for his 7th District state Senate bid, should Andy Harris go to Congress.

Steny Hoyer

Some House GOP members are causing a ruckus over Congress being out of session. Plus he won't let Orrin Hatch's song play at the DNC.

CASA DE MARYLAND

Took in $1.5M from Venezuelan oil co. Citgo, for their new day-laborer center in Langley Park.

Mike Miller III

Not much of a surprise, but the powerful scion will not get a district judgeship.

Mary Ellen Barbera

The newest member of Maryland's highest court.

Ulysses Currie

More evidence he's corrupt. What's new?

Martin O'Malley

Received national press attention as he was tapped by the DNC to do a press conference knocking McCain ties to oil companies.

Martin O'Malley

Exxon Mobile perhaps wasn't the best choice in oil companies to be attacking, given their stock's weight on the pension system.

Marylanders United to Stop Slots

The group had an unusually good week, raising questions of whether new Secretary of State John McDonough has a conflict of interest and a report on race earnings leaving the state.

Mildred Myers

The Smithsburg mayor cast a tie-breaking vote this week to see her husband reappointed to the board of zoning appeals, much to the consternation to some on the town council.

You left out PG Sheriff Michael Jackson, PG Police Chief Melvin High, their out of control storm troopers, and PG County Executive Jack Johnson who normally wants all the press he can get, but seems to have vanished off the face of the earth rather than confront the issues surrounding the Calvo raid.
