Rothenberg rating shift for MD-1 favors Kratovil
By Wally EdgeIn late September, the Rothenberg Political Report rated the 1st Congressional District race as "Republican Favored." In today's updated ratings of races nationwide, 38 of the 40 rating changes were in a direction more favorable to Democrats.
The next most competitive rating after "Republican Favored" is "Lean Republican," but today, Rothenberg changed the rating of the contest between Democrat Frank Kratovil (Stevensville) and Republican Andy Harris (Cockeysville) by an additional step to "Toss-Up/Tilt Republican."

Retred of the "conservative actors" from Gilchrest to Kratovil was a pretty significant blunder. It may not be the deciding factor of why Andy loses, but certain a symptom.

It seems the Harris campaign really is in the middle of an epic collapse. Who could have imagined an entire campaign strategy of yelling "he's a liberal!" over and over while coming up with no solutions to the problems facing our country right now wouldn't work.

Fire Meekins, are you kidding? That guy came up with the brilliant strategy of shouting "liberal" over and over again. Invaluable advice such as that is hard to stumble upon!
