If those that keep thinking this Governor is not someone who is the best leader we have probably ever had in our lives in the State-House are fools. The Governor does not control every single thing, like some people like to think that chief executive officals in that jurisdiction do. They are simply like CEO's or Deans of a school. There job is to do many things, and one of those things is to bring jobs and money into this state. Whoever posted he flies around the world on your dime, if he only knew that he flew to Isreal to help close deals that would bring thousands of jobs and billions of dollars into our state. NO GOVERNOR, PRESIDENT, MAYOR, ETC, ever EVER EVER EVER wants to RAISE TAXES!!!! Do you think they are stupid? That they want to make the people that voted for them ever think even for a minute, that they enjoy to raise taxes!! Absolutely not. They are in the public service business to make a difference and have solutions to problems. Unfortunately for this Governor, he came into a broken adminstration left by Erlich and he is the one who is taking control of this great state, and will lead our state into a national example in many area's. We all saw how Baltimore changed during his time. We got a NFL team, new Hotels, rapid influx of business and night-life with the downtown revitlization projects. Yet, people always seem to complain and like to point their finger for things going wrong at people they think are responsible for it. When often the people who are responsible for it, are those you will never know, and that is how the game of Politics goes in the 21st century. We are a team, and unfotunetely for those who do not align with the Democratic Party. You will most likely have to go live in another state if you "dis-like" the policies of what this party does. I can promise it does not matter if a Republican ever sits in the Governors Chair again, they will be proposing policies similar to ours, similar to what Erlich had to do often to get things passed. I can often remember seeing articles in the Sun, regarding enviornmental intitivaes that questioned what is this a Republican policy? Governor O'Malley has the ear and respect of the leaders in all branches of the MD State Government. So, let us do something about the problems, rather than just blog these short ridiclious lies and naive beliefs that do nothing for anyone. It is obvious I align myself more with the Democrat party; nevertheless, being a POSC grad from Towson University, I understand the system better than most: and one of the things people do not know is this- It is all the same people! Whether you want to call yourself black or green, conservative or liberal: These guys do not wear blue suits and donkey patches on their sleeves to work like a U.S. Army Soldier fighting an Taliban member or something. They work together, they belive in allot of the same stuff, and bottom line the work is supposed to be for the same mission: To protect and serve the people they represent. (Like the cop slogan lol! )So just a note from this voter, but I am a big O'Malley supporter and have been since feeling his change in Baltimore my home city-
