When Frank Kratovil announced that Lynn Caligiuri, a campaign consultant to Rep. Wayne Gilchrest, would be joining the Democrat's campaign after her Republican boss of more than a decade and a half was defeated in the February primary, they didn't say anything about whether she would still work for Gilchrest.
According to the latest filings from the Federal Election Commission, she's working for both of them.
Caligiuri, who still serves as Gilchrest's campaign treasurer, filed his report for him on Sunday which shows her still receiving her monthly salary. She received checks for $2,544 each on May 1 and June 2.
At the same time, Caligiuri's been consulting for Kratovil, receiving $6,308.82 for fees and expenditures spanning from April 30 to June 3.
Her addition to the Kratovil team was announced on April 17, at which time the campaign said she would assist in fundraising matters. The campaign also uses the services of the fundraising firm Martin Lauer Associates.
Caligiuri and her husband, Gilchrest chief of staff Tony Caligiuri, endorsed Kratovil over state Sen. Andy Harris, the victor of the hotly contested Republican primary.

Ron Paul
And "Congressman" Ron Paul's salary is not being paid by taxpayers while he runs around running for office??
I'll be glad when Andy wins
I'll be glad when Andy wins so that the Caligiuri's will finally be off the teet of big Government. I am sick and tired of paying the salaries of political hacks. That's why I voted for Ron Paul...kick the bums out.
I'm Glad this was exposed
I'm glad this was exposed! We need to root out any more bipartisanship! Cooperation, bipartisanship and civility are destoying our political system and our nation!!
The largested holder of 'oil
The largested holder of 'oil stock' in Maryland is actually the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System who's board is appointed by Governor O'Malley who happened to endorse Franklin Kratovil. Is Kratovil going to renounce that endorsement?
Yawn....
This is a big yawner, Wally. Who cares? Under the Bush systematic destruction of our economy, many people have to take two jobs to help make ends meet. If any laws are being broken, maybe that is a story. Until then it's just another victim of 8 years of miserable governance striving to keep her head above water, with the knowledge and consent of both employers.
Heck, Andy Harris is on the payroll of the State of Maryland and Johns Hopkins Hospital, and is the recipient of the largess of the oil industry, in whose lap he coos sweet nothings like a parrot in a sitcom.
