Top-tier veep prospect at Unity '08 fundraiser
By Wally EdgeAnother prospect for the Democratic vice presidential nomination will be dropping into the Democrats' July 30 Unity Fundraiser.
Confirmed attendee Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell still gets mentioned as a prospect in some circles, but this new guest is at the top of the veep list for at least one of Washington's CW-shapers.
By the time July 30 rolls around, there's a chance we'll know who gets the no. 2 slot, so there's the potential to party with a full-fledged candidate.
