Another prospect for the Democratic vice presidential nomination will be dropping into the Democrats' July 30 Unity Fundraiser.
Confirmed attendee Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell still gets mentioned as a prospect in some circles, but this new guest is at the top of the veep list for at least one of Washington's CW-shapers.
By the time July 30 rolls around, there's a chance we'll know who gets the no. 2 slot, so there's the potential to party with a full-fledged candidate.
