The Bartlett theory
By Wally EdgeThere seems to be a positive correlation between oil prices and Rep. Roscoe Bartlett's popularity among conservatives.
Bartlett has long been considered a political wildcard -- a Republican with a bit of a libertarian streak. But lately, he is being showered with praise from the chief conservative opinion-maker in the country: The Wall Street Journal.
Bartlett's back in the paper again with a profile of him and three other GOP'ers stressing the need for alternative energy sources.
