Real name: P. Kenneth Burns
Paul Kenneth "Kenny" Burns has been apart of the media scene in the Washington/Baltimore Area for 15 years. In addition to being the editor/writer of Maryland Politics Today, his day job involves being a producer for a national radio
network. Before he returned to the nation's capital, he spent three years working for WNAV-AM in Annapolis, Maryland where he was an announcer and news anchor. He started in radio at WTOP-AM/FM in Washington, working as a weekend news assistant. Burns has been a journalist since a teenager, where he was one of the many teen editors with the Children's Express News Service. In addition, he was news editor for YoungD.C., a newspaper by teenagers that is distributed throughout the Greater Washington Area.
His career also included logging many hours in the sky as an airborne traffic reporter. He currently lives in Laurel, Prince George's County. His email is kennyburns@marylandpolitics.us.
