Van Hollen raised $399K in 3Q, $2.7M cash on hand

U.S. Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Kensington), who represents Maryland's 8th Congressional District, reported $398,916.18 in total contributions in the third fundraising quarter and has $2,724,622.47 cash on hand, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission.

His opponent, Republican Steve Hudson, has not filed his 3rd quarter earnings yet.

Van Hollen also chairs the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Mechanicsville), who represents Maryland's 5th Congressional District, reported $384,265 in total contributions in the third fundraising quarter and has $1,535,962.11 cash on hand, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission.

His opponent, Republican Collins Bailey, has not filed his 3rd quarter earnings yet.

State's Attorney Frank Kratovil (D-Stevensville), who is running for congress in Maryland's 1st Congressional District, is reporting $602,826.56 in total contributions in the third fundraising quarter and has $517,602.24  cash on hand, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Kratovil's opponent, state Sen. Andy Harris (R-Cockeysville), reported $558,891.83 in total contributions in the third fundraising quarter and has $749,060.81 cash on hand, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Cummings raised $102K in 3Q, Hargadon $9K

U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Baltimore), who currently represents Maryland's 7th Congressional District, is reporting $101,600 in total contributions in the third fundraising quarter and has $689,556.32 cash-on-hand, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Cummings is currently being challenged by Republican Mike Hargadon.

Hargadon reported $8,715.87 in total contributions in the third fundraising quarter and has $632.47 cash-on-hand, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Edwards raises $59K in 3Q, $47K cash on hand

U.S. Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Fort Washington), who currently holds Maryland's 4th Congressional District seat, is reporting $58,754.64 in total contributions in the third fundraising quarter and has $47,423.69 cash on hand, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Edwards, who won the seat in a June special election, is currently being challenged by Republican Peter James.

James's 3rd quarter numbers are not yet available.

Clark Campaign Releases 2nd Quarter FEC Report: Total Tops 3rd Party Campaigns Nationwide

Adjusting for candidates’ contributions to themselves, these totals put Clark’s fundraising at the top of 3rd party-nominated congressional campaigns nationwide and even ahead of some senate campaigns. Significantly, the cash on hand amount is just slightly under that reported by one of Clark’s major party opponents, Republican Steve Hudson, while the debt reported by the Clark campaign is less than half that reported by the Hudson campaign.
