Brown brings new communications director on board

Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown (D-Baltimore) brought on Barbara Streeter as his new communications director this week.

Prior to joining the lieutenant governor's office, Streeter worked on community relations at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Prince George's County.

    Lt. Gov. hires new communications director, promotes deputy press secretary

    Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown (D-Baltimore) is rearranging his press office.                                         

    Brown's former press secretary, Nancy Lineman, left the lieutenant governor's office in July for a position at the Maryland Department of Human Recourses.

    On Wednesday, former deputy press secretary Mike Raia announced he would be taking over the role as press secretary.

    Barbara Streeter will hop on board in mid-October to fill the new position of communications director. Streeter currently works on community relations at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Prince George's County.
