After being accused of fraud and misrepresentation, Del. Tony McConkey (R-Severna Park) will face a jury in November according to The Capital.

A judge ruled last week that McConkey violated the law when he bought a home facing foreclosure.  Circuit Court Judge D. William Simpson says that McConkey's purchase of Teresa Milligan's home was illegal because he was acting as a consultant.

Simpson ruled that the purchase violated the Protection of Homeowners in Foreclosure Act, a law McConkey signed for in 2005 and then again in 2008 when it was amended.
