Does the Washington Times endorsement matter to GOP primary voters in the 1st?

Yes. Conservatives trust their view and it'll look good in Harris' mail.

No. Nobody reads it and people have heard it all before about Gilchrest's record.

Don't know. Gilchrest has been around long enough for people to know him, but he's never faced a challenge like this.

Harris vs Giclhrest

A conversation with Wayne usually confirms that he is as dull as he looks.

Now that a real Republican who has already taken on an establishment type and won is challenging, Wayne has to play dirty to keep the only decent job he ever had. Many GOP leaders hae grown disgusted with his regular sellouts.

Wayne's first dirty trick was an intellectually dishonest hit piece linking Harris with illegal immigrants. Perhaps chutzpah is not a common word on the Eastern Shore. Enticing Pipkin into the race to split the anti-Gilchrest vote was also clever. If Eastern Shore voters are as parochial as Wayne and his puppet-master Caliguiri think they are, this ploy could backfire.
