Edwards jumps to commanding lead in Prince George’s County

Activist Donna Edwards (D-Fort Washington) has taken a commanding lead in Prince George's County through the initial counting of ballots in one of  two counties encompassing Maryland's 4th Congressional District.

Of the 21 precincts reporting, Edwards has amassed more than 90 percent of the vote. There are 110 precincts in the county. Results from Montgomery County have yet to become available.
