Michael CryorState Democratic Party Chairman Michael Cryor and Vice Chairwoman Lauren Dugas Glover, both superdelegates, are endorsing Illinois Senator Barack Obama this afternoon, sources tell PolitickerMD.com.
Those close to Cryor have said he has been an Obama supporter for some time, but wished to remain neutral to help broker between dissenting factions within the state party.
After their endorsement, only 10 Maryland Democratic superdelegates will remain undecided. New York Sen. Hillary Clinton will have 11 while Obama will have 8.

it is NOT embarrassing that
it is NOT embarrassing that o'malley chose someone who is going for obama -- democrats don't need to march in lock step with the governor.
But I think it is a little embarrassing that the governor came out so early for clinton. I am sure he thought he was hitching his wagon to her star, but as the top democrat in the state, it would've been nice if he'd have let the voters of his state decide first.
NATIVE AMERICANS FOR OBAMA
THE 300 TRIBAL NATIONS IN THE USA ARE ALL VOTING FOR OBAMA...
WE NEED CHANGE LIKE NO OTHER..
BILL CLINTON LIED TO US AND FORGOT US..
HILLARY HAS SAID NOTHING AT ALL TO HELP US..
OBAMA 08'
thank you
i thank God for the superdelegates that are stepping up to the plate. I can not trust the news media for they are all promoting the Clinton's. We desperately need the superdelegates to come foreward and end this primary so they we can move foreward. this is getting totally out of control and eventually will destroy the dem. party.
Cryor, Dugas Glover to endorse Obama
Praise God!!!! And thank you so much!!! Obama 08 chane is coming to the USA truly together we stand.
Obama 2008!
I'm am so happy to hear that all of you are endorsing Mr. Obama. I've been upset the past few days over the mainstream media and it's coverage against Mr. Obama. I'm glad that you've stepped up and did the right thing, because we need a President who's honest, caring, and for the people. God bless you!
SD endorsements
Thank you Mr. Cryor and Ms. Glover, from the bottom of my heart. This is great news from two courageous and smart people!
Is this
Is this embarassing for O'Malley that the person he chose to head the State Party is joining the other side in the presidential contest?
