Harris camp claims push polling, Kratovil camp calls foul
By Danny Reiter, PolitickerMD.com ReporterThe Andy Harris campaign says their Democratic challenger is engaging in push polling to distort Harris' record, but Frank Kratovil's camp is calling the accusations false.
Harris campaign manager Chris Meekins claims Frank Kratovil's campaign is "engaging in negative and deceitful push polling" in an attempt to win voters over to its side.
"One of our campaign supporters received one of these push calls last evening and emphasized the questions," Meekins told PolitickerMD.com. "Clearly the goal is to try and distort Andy's record and deceive voters about what Andy Harris supports resulting in them trying to make Kratovil look better."
Meekins did not offer a recording or transcript of the call and did not identify which supporter had received it.
Kratovil campaign manager Tim McCann said the other side was making false accusations.
"We are not, have not and will not be conducting any push polls," he said. "I have no idea if they're making it up or what."
State's Attorney Frank Kratovil (D-Stevensville) and state Sen. Andy Harris (R-Cockeysville) are currently competing for Maryland's 1st Congressional District seat. The 1st District includes 12 of the 23 counties in the state, which encompasses all of the Eastern Shore and portions of Harford, Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties.
The Kratovil-Harris race is ranked the 51st most competitive U.S. House race in the nation on Politicker.com's Pindell Report. Politicker.com Managing Editor James Pindell lists the race as "Leans Republican."

I think you better pack your
I think you better pack your DNC bags and head to Ohio or Iowa where you might make a difference. It is obvious by Frank's desperation (push polling) and the national poll numbers that Kratovil is toast and Obama is heading to a historic defeat.
Sorry Frank, you tried, but failed. Better tell Paulson that O'Malley croneyism doesn't fly in the First.

I love how all you big, strong, Republican he-men are so scared of that little old Italian grandma from San Francisco that you see her under your beds, in your closets (and gosh only knows what else lies in there) and in your dreams.
And then you take those fears and project them on anyone with a "D" after their name.

And when Kratovil gets elected, I hope he doesn't vote for Pelosi, but chooses instead to vote for a House Speaker who is not afraid to prosecute Bush and Cheney for their many crimes against this great nation.
Kratovil is Done
Let’s be clear, Kratovil only said that “He” was not push-polling. He did not say that his sugar-daddies in the DNCC were not push-polling. He also did not say that he would refuse money or any support from people that are engaging in deceitful push-polling. Instead, as usual, he responds right out of Nancy Pelosi’s playbook and cries about lies and dirty politics from Senator Harris’ campaign. Kratovil is desperate! He is tied to a Governor with the lowest approval rating in Maryland in the last thirty years! He is tied to a party that has its entire legacy in Maryland tied to huge deficits, tax increases, and an ever increasing pressure on the working class—and they can’t blame that on the Republicans and especially not Governor Ehrlich (He only had four years and they had 40). Why else would he fail to mention in any of his ads that he is a Democrat? Why else would he be running ads and sending out press releases claiming that if we trust him he will not vote like the rest of the lemmings in Nancy Pelosi’s toy soldier army. It is clear if you really look at it. Kratovil is done!

Andy's record is real and people can check that out online at Md general assembly webpages. Andy does it himself in tv commercials. Andy is for altnernative energy, until you look at his voting record. Andy is for education, until you look at his voting record. ?Give me a break. Harris' push polling fantasies
Kratovil does not need push polls to discredit the Harris record. Andy's record speaks for itself.
Environment, education, Chesapeake Bay, just take a look at his record on these issues.
That latest poll Harris just took must have really frightened him. You will notice, he has not released any of the results.
That can not be good news for him.

Danny gets played every time Meekins opens his mouth.
How else could you explain how there is never a challenge to Meekins' oft repeated sentence "Kratovil,liberal, O'Malley, Pelosi."
The Meekins/Harris camp proved in the primary that they are the masters at playing dirty. They must have some new internal polling that shows them in trouble, so their games are starting now.
The ability to lie without fear of repercussion must be an inherited trait in the Republican party. How else can one explain Meekins' claim here, and the fawning sycophants drooling over, under and around the Queen of Pork, who gets the crowd revved up in a testosterone fueled frenzy when she's incanting "No thanks for the Bridge", but then neglects to inform the lemmings that not only did she keep the money for other pet projects, but that Alaska gets almost TEN TIMES the average of all other states in annual earmark spending. And when the media highlights they lies, they just scream them louder.
So let's get this straight.
