Paulson: ‘Karl Rove style nastiness lives on'

Maryland Republican Party executive director Justin Ready had only one thing to say on the eve of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's speech at the Republican National Convention:

"You've got your hands full now boys."

But David Paulson, the Maryland Democratic Party's communications director, said the comment "tells you something about where their heads are at."

"Given his ‘boys' comment, one could suppose that women still aren't taken all that seriously in the Republican arena - their VP nominee notwithstanding," wrote Paulson in an email to PolitickerMD.com. "Karl Rove style nastiness lives on ... The entire Republican convention is proof that real issues that affect real Americans remain low on the Republican list of priorities while personal and nasty attacks remain the norm."

Yes...by boys I meant

Obama, Biden, and also Mr. Paulson. By the way, the comment was meant in a playful and excited way. We are very excited about Governor Palin and she is going to be great and a tough lady for our Democratic Party friends to handle...

How was that nasty?

Also, real issues like energy policy, taxes, terrorism, foreign policy, and the economy were discussed at length.

One could also suppose that

One could also suppose that "boys" refers to Obama/Biden....

One could also suppose a great many things if one wished.

Give me a break, like Bush

Give me a break, like Bush has a command of English! His command of grammar is non-existent, as is your ability to think rationaly, since you are a Repugnantcan!

I am so glad to see their

I am so glad to see their communications director dangling a preposition. His command of the English language is as poor as Democrats' command of solid public policy ideas.

Another hyperpartisan

Another hyperpartisan comment from hyperppartisan Mr. Donna Hamilton.

A few weeks ago, someone asked you to say ONE positive comment about ANY elected Republican.

I guess you can't.

Maybe the partisan gene comes with obesity genes.

Oh David, you wouldn't

Oh David, you wouldn't understand the truth if it smacked you in the face. How does this guy have a job, considering he is married to a news anchor (Donna Hamilton)? Wait, he doesn't get paid, so does he live off of his wife's salary? We would love to know tha answer...
