NRCC's Cole to campaign for Harris
By Alex Isenstadt, Politicker.com ReporterWASHINGTON – National Republican Congressional Committee chair Tom Cole is set to launch a three-week national tour of house races, including a stop in Maryland.
While the schedule is still tentative, according to an NRCC source familiar with the plans, the trip will bring Cole to Maryland’s 1st Congressional district, where Republican Andy Harris is running against Democrat Frank Kratovil. The trip is scheduled for Oct. 23.
Cole, a third term congressman from Oklahoma who is in his first stint as the GOP House campaign chief, is a top fundraising draw for House candidates across the country.
He will also be making stops for Republicans Bill Posey and Tom Rooney in Florida, Steve Scalise and Bill Cassidy in Lousiana, Cynthia Lummis in Wyoming, Dean Andal and Tom McClintock in California, Lynn Jenkins and Nick Jordan in Kansas, Martin Ozinga in Illinois, Mike Coffman in Colorado, Kirk Schuring in Ohio, and Keith Fimian in Virginia.

Momentum now with Frank more than ever
This move by the RNCC is a like a second place prize for Andy, especially since he went begging them for money earlier this week. They will send John Cole for a one day event and you think that matches the DCCC commitment to Frank? I think it shows that they aren't committed to Harris.

Sure the DCCC can dump a million dollars into the race against him...but that's a mere drop in the bucket compared to having Tom Cole drop down into the district for a couple of hours....
